Daily Support Aide
The role
Daily support is the part of the work a family feels every day. An aide is in the home so a relative stays under reliable supervision, for the hours ComfortZone helped put in place.
What the work is
- Be in the person’s home for the scheduled hours
- Help with the daily routine the family and the coordinator have agreed on
- Notice what is changing, and pass it to the service coordinator instead of leaving the family to discover it later
- Show up consistently. The promise to the family is reliable supervision, not a rotating set of strangers
Who you are with
The person receiving care, and the relatives who need to know someone reliable is there. You check in with a service coordinator about the hours and anything that should change in the plan. The work is in New York, part-time, in the home.
This is an example of how a full role appears on the site. It is not a live opening.
