Questions families ask

What does ComfortZone do?

We help increase care hours, process all necessary documentation, and provide daily support for your loved ones. Your relatives are under reliable supervision.

Which programs do you work with?

NHTD, TBI, and Holocaust survivors. NHTD is the Nursing Home Transition and Diversion Medicaid waiver. TBI is the Traumatic Brain Injury Medicaid waiver.

How do I start?

Call 718-602-0788 or write to Milavolbi@comfortzoneny.com. Tell us who the care is for and which program you are asking about. If you are not sure, say so.

Who decides if someone can join NHTD or TBI?

The state’s Regional Resource Development Center approves participation. ComfortZone helps you prepare the documentation and arrange care hours. This website does not approve eligibility.

Where do you work?

ComfortZone works with New York families. Call or email and we will tell you whether we can help your relative.
